Sfi study path 2

Did you complete compulsory schooling in your home country? If so, you should follow study path 2.

The aim is that you should meet the entry requirements for further studies and have the right conditions to succeed in the labour market.

Daytime or evening

On sfi study path 2, you will take courses B, C and D. You will have the option of studying during the daytime or in the evening.

Sfi 2B with work placement

Lessons will take place at the school premises. There may also be online lessons.

You will start with sfi and an introductory course. The introductory course will prepare you for the work placement.

The work placement is four weeks long. You will do a work placement twice a year, once in the spring and once in the autumn. The school will help you to find a work placement. During the work placement, you will also study sfi.

The work placement and the introductory course are compulsory and you cannot opt out from them – they are an integral part of your sfi teaching.

  • use digital tools for learning and communication.

How many hours does sfi take?

The Centre for Adult Education allocates a different number of hours for sfi studies to each student. This depends on factors such as your study background and the course you will be taking. If you need more hours, your teacher can request extra time if your attendance is good and if the teacher believes that extra time could lead to a pass grade.
