Sfi study path 3

Are you used to studying? If so, you should follow study path 3.

Study path 3 is for those who are used to studying. The aim is that you should meet the entry requirements for further studies and have the right conditions to succeed in the labour market.

If you have planned your studies with us, you do not need to reapply – you can continue directly to the next course. Once you have completed 3D, you can continue directly to Swedish as a second language basic modules 2, 3 and 4. 

Find the right group for you

Please be advised that schedules and timings may vary by school.

You attend classes at the school every day, either in the morning or the afternoon. 

The curriculum may include digital classes. 

You are expected to study independently, working on assignments provided by the teacher, approximately 2 hours per week. 

  • Teacher-led classes: 18 hours per week.

 

You will have evening classes for 5 hours a week. Lessons will take place at the school premises. There may also be online lessons.

You will study via distance learning for 7 hours a week.

  • Teacher-led classes: 5 hours per week.

You attend classes at the school on Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.

The curriculum may include digital classes. 

You are expected to study independently, working on assignments provided by the teacher, approximately 2 hours per week. 

  • Teacher-led classes: 5 hours per week.

Course content in brief

At sfi, you will learn to:

  • read and write Swedish
  • speak, converse in and understand Swedish in different contexts
  • adapt the language according to different situations
  • speak with good pronunciation
  • use digital tools for learning and communication.
